![]() There are many more parameters on Tachyon rendering that you can tune in VMD. I bet you can hardly tell the difference between two :) Advanced I found that BlownGlass under GLSL looks pretty nice so one can easily skip the Tachyon rendering, which is especially costly when dealing with transparent surfaces, and directly producing images with cheap Snapshots.
